This smells like a bright fuzzy weed. There's a slight hint of a couple of notes but combined it smells like weed to me.

- Beauty R.I recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 stars3/23/24Berry sangria and jam under the fig trees
I love this unique fragrance experience! It starts off as fresh green figs with fig tree leaves and branches -- giving garden clippings and Diptyque's Philosykos. Then in true Byredo fashion, this amazing dupe changes into a juicy, fruity medley like a berry sangria.
Then over 3 or 4 hours, bright red and purple fruit jams make their way to the front -- and then it all disappears. Everyone loves to hate on Byredo because it's so expensive for such a transient experience, but that's the point. You can enjoy putting on new layers and switching it up after a few hours. Different time of day calls for a new scent combo!
I've tried to put more on to get more of the berry and red-fruit ending, but it just starts all over again with the fresh greens and fig tree clippings. People say Space Rage smells like Byredo's Pulp, but I think this starts off as Philosykos then turns into more of a Byredo Sundazed (bright and sparkling fruits) than Pulp (overripe fruit compote). Then when it starts sweetening up even more and the fresh greens and fig start fading, everything just disappears completely.
It's amazing. Love this magical journey in a bottle!! Green Fig makes me want to buy Space Rage by Byredo, but I'll hold out to see if Dossier offers this in a big bottle!

- MaeI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 stars11/30/23Never tried the original, but this is familar
I bought this one a whim because I like Byredo scents, and even if I wanted to and could get the original, I'm not particularly keen on that particular celebrity collaboration (I couldn't even buy a sample). It's very familiar. I went to look up the notes of the original, and the notes are almost the same as another Byredo scent, Pulp. There are some major differences, but it's basically siblings of each other, and given that I'm only basing this on the Dossier impression, it's darned impressive. Green Fig starts out with a rather pungent, green, somewhat woody, musty fig scent. I think the mustiness may actually be from the geranium, because that's what it does on me. It lasts a few minutes this way before giving way to the tart fruits and woodiness that I associate with Pulp. If not for the green fig and geranium notes, I'd think this was an impression of that scent instead. It's not exactly the same, but that is was recognizable is what is cool. So, I guess the original is essentially Pulp with green fig and geranium. I gave it 5 stars because it's an awesome scent, and it's worth the higher tier price, but I will add that a touch of milkiness (like fig sap, not actual milk or cream) to the initial fig top notes to soften the pungency would make this a bit better. This is absolutely a keeper, and probably the only way to get something like the hard-to-find original, unless you buy Pulp and can ignore the lack of strong fig. Don't discontinue this one!

- MsI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 stars9/19/23Best Perfume I've Ever Smelled
I'm not sure why this perfume is so polarizing. I absolutely love it. It truly does smell better than anything else I've ever tried. Green but not too grassy, fruity but not to sweet. It's slightly feminine and very unique. The first time I wore it I got compliments. If you're unsure this is for you Dossier does have a good return policy.

Fascinating fragrance! It smells like celery and bell peppers on my skin. While it smells very fresh, I cannot think of any occasion to leave the house smelling like vegetables.
I very much appreciate Dossier's risk-free rerun policy.
