Think a velvety bouquet of roses got together with spicy amber tones derived from smoky cumin and incense to strike the perfect balance of floral and sultry warmth. Spark rich and mystical vibes day or night.

At Dossier, we not only want our products to smell amazing, but we want our consumers to feel good when they use them, too! That’s why our candles are 100% soy wax, with no additives or stabilizers. These natural formulas may cause textural irregularities on the edge of the glass, but this is completely normal and has no effect on the quality of the product.

Tips and wicks.

Tip #1: First burn.

Your first burn should last 2 to 3 hours. Let the wax melt all across the top surface. Anything less than that will create a tunnel effect where a hole forms in the center.

A long first burn will also prevent hot wax from extinguishing your flame in the future. The scent of your candle will be stronger during the second lighting.

Tip #2: Trimmed wicks.

Hold that match! Before burning, cut your wick to about ¼ inch. This will avoid soot buildup. If you see your wick leaning, use tweezers to center it while the wax is still hot.

Tip #3: Safe storage.

Keep your candle out of direct sunlight. Ideally, your room should be 60° to 80° so your candle is not too hot or too cold — but just right.

Tip #4: Burn time.

Each candle has a total burn time of about 25 hours before all of the wax is melted.

We cannot accept any returns for candles that had been used (lit). In order to return a candle, proceed to our regular returns portal, and upload and image of your unused candle. If your candle has been used, your return request will be denied.

Weird scent + Overpriced
I have a lot of dossier products and so far this is the only one I've exchanged. The main issue is I really dislike this scent- I don't have the original this is based on so can't comment if it's a good likeness or not, but anyway the florals seem musty and the cumin is prominent in a bad way, so overall it smells like old pot-pourri with a side of chili. Perhaps when burned it turns into something nicer but I wasn't willing to take that chance as you cannot return lit candles (which is also a bummer). Also, imho all candles are priced too high- if they were priced like the diffusers* about $35 I'd call that a good value anytime, but as they are at $50 I'll only be looking at them during big sales (which is how I got this one, half off during black friday sale iirc). The final issue is even more general- Ambery Saffron is dossier's #1 bestselling scent and yet it's not available as a candle nor a diffuser /smh.
TLDR please retire this yuckers scent, replace it with the bestselling scent, and lower the price of candles
*diffusers are my surprise fav dossier products btw. they work great and are priced right- try them!!

Do not like smell- way too strong
I wish I could return this. I’ve liked other candles and diffusers from Dossier much more. This is too strong and intense and chemically smelling.
