Musky Family

Musks are a very specific raw material category. They are incredibly versatile, which balances or "fixes" the scent by adding staying power, keeping the scent of a fragrance on the skin.

Traditional musk is an animal by-product from a specific species of deer. Thankfully, this animal is happily now protected. Perfumers have since created many safe and high-end raw materials to replace it in fragrances. Musky notes convey a clean yet sensuous second skin feeling in a fragrance.
Musky Oakmoss and Musky Green Tea (inspired by Creed's best selling Aventus and Silver Mountain Water), and Musky Rose (inspired by Narciso Rodriguez’ For Her) are good examples of fragrances in which musks are key.
