These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the “Try Before You Buy” (“TBYB”) program offered 13 Scents Inc. (“we,” “our,” “us”). By participating in TBYB, you agree to these Terms in addition to our standard Terms of Sale and Privacy Policy.

1. ELIGIBILITY
TBYB is an offer that is available between 19.02.2026 and 31.12.2026. This offer is available exclusively to selected customers who receive an invitation email with a unique link. Eligibility is determined solely by us.
The program is currently limited to customers in the United States. Customers may only order one unit per product under the Try Before You Buy program. Orders containing multiple units of the same product are not eligible. All sets and sample products are not eligible. All Dossier US products are eligible unless expressly excluded above.
The TBYB option will only be visible when accessing our website through the unique link provided in the invitation email.
You may add multiple different products under TBYB, subject to cart limits of a maximum of nine (9) TBYB products per order in the United States.
For each product, you must choose either the Try Before You Buy option or the standard purchase option.
A single product cannot be both tried and purchased in the same order.

2. Trial Products
Eligible customers may order products through TBYB and receive them for a 7-day trial period, starting on the day the products are delivered.
Customers may trial multiple products under TBYB, subject to availability.
The 7-day trial period begins on the delivery date confirmed by the carrier, not the order date

3. Payment & Authorization
A valid credit card is required to participate.
When you place a TBYB order, we may place an authorization hold (pending charge) on your card for the full retail value of the products. This is not a charge at that time; however, if products are not returned within the trial period, your card will be charged automatically.
At the time of placing a TBYB order, you will be charged a non-refundable TBYB shipping fee as
follows:
  $3.95 if your TBYB order contains only one (1) product
  $0.50 if your TBYB order contains more than one (1) product
This TBYB shipping fee is charged at checkout and is non-refundable, regardless of whether you keep or return any products.
If you keep any TBYB products after the trial period, you will be charged only for the products you keep.
Dossier+ credits may not be applied toward TBYB products.

4. Returns
You must return trial products within the 7-day trial period to avoid being charged. You must initiate and ship returns for TBYB products within the 7-day trial period to avoid being charged.
Products must be returned in their original packaging.
If you return products within the trial window, the authorization hold will be released, and no product charges will apply.
Return shipping instructions will be provided with your order. You are responsible for returning the items on time.
If TBYB products are returned after the 7-day trial period but within 30 days of delivery, Dossier’s standard Returns & Exchanges Policy will apply.

5. Fees & Non-Refundable Costs
The TBYB shipping fee charged at checkout is non-refundable, even if you return all products within the trial period.
Any Dossier+ trial fee (if selected by you) is also non-refundable. Only the product cost itself will be waived if products are returned on time.

6. Failure to Return
If products are not returned within the 7-day trial period, you will be charged the full retail value of the products.
If products are not returned within the 7-day trial period, you will be charged for the products not returned. Charges may be processed automatically using the payment method on file.
Returned products received after the trial period may not be eligible for a refund.

7. Condition of Products
We reserve the right to deny returns, or charge you the full retail value, if products are damaged, excessively used, or not returned in their original packaging.

8. Dossier+ & Promotions
Try Before You Buy orders qualify for Dossier+ program benefits available at the time of purchase. TBYB products count toward “Buy More Save More” offers for Dossier+ members or customers who enroll at checkout. TBYB orders may qualify for a free Dossier+ sample where applicable.
Promotional eligibility does not change the trial obligations described in these Terms.

9. Program Changes & Termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the TBYB program at any time without prior notice.
Participation is subject to fraud prevention, abuse review, and compliance with these Terms.

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.
