- Eva M.I recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 stars1/6/26like i just laid in my backyard garden
i moved away for school and wanted a taste of homey vibes. i used the dossier ai and it gave me sage and black tea renewal! its so unique yet still hits the hammer on the head for homey vibes! smells genuinely like a garden and not a flower garden necessarily but a garden with sage, twindle, all that whimsy green shi. . very hippy coded very unisex and not quite headturning but significant enough to be noticeable to those in conversation which is exactly what i wanted (if you want a head turner thatll land you the job, try dossiers ambery vanilla- trust) this is perfect for every day use

- BlairI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 stars7/7/25The Most Alluring, Calming Scent I’ve Ever Worn
I’m genuinely obsessed with this scent! There is something so calming yet mysteriously alluring about the scent. . . I find myself smelling my wrist over and over like a weirdo, but I don’t even care. It’s that good. My 17 year old son loves it too. He was literally asking me how much it costs because he wants to wear it, and honestly, I can’t blame him. It’s that perfect middle ground. . . elegant, soft, and gender-neutral in the best way. I’ve already used a good chunk of the bottle in the last week and I’m seriously debating grabbing another one just to make sure I never run out. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever worn before, and I feel like it matches my energy in the most soothing way. Would love to see 100ml bottles of this!!
Was this helpful?DPDossier Perfumes7/14/25Blair, this might be the most poetic wrist-sniffing confession we’ve ever read. Elegant, soothing, gender-neutral perfection? We’re printing this review and framing it in our perfumer’s lab. Also, 100ml bottles? Noted. Loudly.
- Christine C.I recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 stars7/19/24I cannot get enough of this!
Whenever I try a new perfume/cologne I sniff it from the bottle and if I like it enough, I’ll spray it a piece of paper, and then on my husband (he doesn’t mind any scents like I do, so this has become our little routine). Usually, I can tell right off the bat if I love or hate a perfume/cologne.
Initially, I did not love this scent on the paper or my husband…but I sniffed again. And again. And again. Over about two days I began to absolutely LOVE it.
It’s incredibly nuanced - there’s a lot for the olfactory sense to unpack. The tea is evident but there’s this underlying freshness that I didn’t expect, especially with all the woody notes. It’s combining the rich woodiness I love (that I gravitate towards in Fall/Winter) with the freshness I seek out in my Spring/Summer scents.
I highly recommend giving this a try, and worst case scenario you can return it if you don’t love it (always buy three or more at a time as you will not have to pay for return shipping!)
I plan to check out all the other Dossier Originals as these are clearly extremely special perfumes.
Was this helpful?DPDossier Perfumes7/30/24Christine, your scent-sniffing routine with your husband is adorable! We love that you gave this fragrance a chance and ended up absolutely loving it. Thanks for the high recommendation and for being a part of the Dossier family. Happy spritzing!
- Sheree'I recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 stars7/3/24A new favorite fragrance
Love this scent. I have received so many complaints while wearing this perfume. I recently paired it with another fragrance from Target called Without A Trace, and they complemented each other very well. I and definitely going to order this scent again.
Was this helpful?DPDossier Perfumes7/4/24Hey there, Sheree! Mixing fragrances can definitely create some unique and amazing combinations! Thank you for sharing your experience, and we look forward to having you order again soon!
- Maya S.Rated 3 out of 5 stars6/7/24Wanted to love this but couldn't get past the coriander and dirt drydown
I usually love tea, bergamot, sage, and herbal/aromatic smells (Dossier's Citrus Tea is my absolute favorite). I love the top notes of Sage & Black Tea Renew--I get lots of delicate tea (maybe slightly fermented) with spices. I want to love it, but the more I try with this fragrance, the more I smell overwhelmingly coriander and dirt. The delicate tea top notes vanish quickly, leaving a strong herbal/aromatic, spiced bitters tincture sort of smell with zero sweetness (or possibly memories of the olfactory affront of walking into a Pier 1 Imports store as a child). Then the mid notes disappear in an hour on me, leaving only faint, spicy wood with zero sweetness that lingers more than 5 hours and smells mostly like dirt to me. I tried layering this with Woody Sage or Ambery Tuberose, but this fragrance only cut all the sweetness and added dirt. I will be returning this with gratitude for Dossier's return policy.
