I love that I can wear it anytime and any event from day to night. This perfume is slightly sweet, bright, fresh and clean. I can get 4 bottles with the price of 1 travel size from Byredo. I love Dossier.

Little muskier possibly, but it is still different and an amazing scent. I have the original and this will help me make that one last! Also, the real scent has virtually NO projection, but this one does which I’m happy about. I’m quite happy with my purchase. :)

I purchased Musky Violet after seeing TikTok reviews comparing it to Mojave Ghost by Byredo. It definitely smells similar and captures some of the same clean, airy, musky vibe, but the scent profile feels just slightly off compared to the original.
On first spray, I liked it immediately, although I wouldn’t call it love at first sniff. Once the initial alcohol smell fades, the fragrance becomes a very soft amber-and-musk skin scent. It smells clean, cozy, subtly ****, and very wearable for almost any occasion or season.
The biggest downside for me is the performance. After dry down, the scent becomes extremely faint to the point where I had trouble locating it on my own arm. It wore more like a skin scent than a true perfume and lasted maybe 30 minutes on me. It also didn’t linger on clothing or leave much projection, which explains why I didn’t receive any compliments while wearing it. The upside is that it’s so light it would be unlikely to trigger headaches or overwhelm anyone around you.
I think this scent profile itself is timeless and works for almost any age group, especially anyone over 30 who enjoys soft, clean musky fragrances. However, while the price point (around $40) is significantly cheaper than the original, I personally would not repurchase this version from Dossier. I have another ALTernative brand for this type of scent that performs much better for me.
Overall: a pleasant and safe everyday scent, but the longevity and projection keep it from fully…

I do not know what I thought but this is an odd combination to me. Violet mixed with musk is not a pleasant smell. I love violet but my nose was immediately offended before I could enjoy the violet.
